The bodies of 37-year-old Virginia Sharpe and her daughter, Mica Ella Sharpe, were found floating in a septic tank – both killed by hired help.

A British national’s family was killed and dumped into a septic tank in Deca Homes, Phase 2 in the town of Minglanilla, about 17-kilometers south of Cebu City.

In all, three men have been arrested for the murder of the mother and daughter – ironically they too, like the American in who was killed along with his wife in Occidental Mindoro this past week – they were killed by the hired hands of the house.

Both victims were stabbed multiple times and were in a state of decomposition when discovered by concerned officials.

The daughter (age not disclosed as of this posting) was found still in her school uniform.

So far three men have been arrested – all hired-hand carpenters who were found in the possession of items belonging to the victims.

The suspects were being interrogated as of this posting, but the motive for the killing is robbery related.

Local police say the discovery did not happen till Thursday, but the crime may have taken place over the weekend.

An initial investigation shows that neighbors did not see the two since the weekend – neighbors and barangay officials decided to check on the duo and forcibly opened the front door – once open, a pungent smell was discovered, leading to the discovery of the mother and daughter in the septic tank near the kitchen.

Information from the media shows that Virginia is the wife of a British national based in London – he was not in the country at the time from what little information is available to us here.
